Are the Summilux R ROM lenses really fetching what is being asked for them

R-lenses are super expensive because of two factors.

1) Few of them were built so basically that made those collector’s items when the R line was discontinued.

and

2) Folks want R lenses to use with the R to L mount adapter for usage on a SL or APS-C series.

Not cheap anyways. Even old Nikon stuff is pricey like the Noct-Nikkor.
