carstenw Posted July 20, 2007 Share #4 Posted July 20, 2007 I bought one here in Berlin. If you ask your dealer nicely, they might sell you one. You can also paint a red one, and then buff the letters silver again.
AGeoJO Posted July 20, 2007 Share #5 Posted July 20, 2007 But, but the red dot is so..... Leica . BTW, is that sitting there on a piece of double-sided adhesive tape, so we can remove that by prying it gently from the side?

mat_mcdermott Posted July 20, 2007 Share #7 Posted July 20, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) I almost bought one off of eBay for, well I won't say exactly, but far more than I did when I bought two from DAG. If you would like instructions (though they go beyond simply replacing one dot with another): summilux.net :: Voir le sujet - Customiser la pastille rouge d'un M. My only suggestion is that I found it easier to use something a bit sturdier than a toothpick to get the red dot off and found a bamboo chopstick ideally suited to the task. The whole procedure takes less than 15 minutes start to finish.
