goatsby Posted January 21, 2019 Share #1 Posted January 21, 2019 Advertisement (gone after registration) Just this past weekend my M9’s thumbwheel started going crazy. When zooming in or going through picture / menu / settings it starts bouncing back and forth as if I was turning the wheel psychotically in both directions. The arrows work fine for now. I know this was discussed in the past but have never seen a resolution to a thread. Has anyone else had this and if so what can be done? Is a trip back the Leica the best or only way? Thanks! low325 Posted January 23, 2019 Share #3 Posted January 23, 2019 Any series of events that you can link to the cause? Condensation? An impact bump? Can you blow into the wheel and see if it might loosen up dusts, a long shot I know.
goatsby Posted January 30, 2019 Author Share #4 Posted January 30, 2019 UPDATE: the battery this was happening with was down to a low charge so I put a fully charged battery in and it hasn’t happened since. Strange. Hopefully it’s a just a fluke with the battery.... 1
