geetee1972 Posted January 4, 2019 Share #1 Posted January 4, 2019 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) I’ve consulted the manual (yes really!), but I cannot work out why I cannot get the magnification mode to work. I have a manual focus lens attached to my CL via a Novoflex adapter, the camera focus mode set to MF and both peaking and magnification are set to ‘On’. The right wheel has no option for magnification in any mode and I can’t find any other button that magnifies the view. What am I doing wrong? I am sure it’s something pretty remedial! Advertisement Posted January 4, 2019 Posted January 4, 2019 Hi geetee1972, Take a look here Help an idiot figure out what he’s doing wrong - CL Magnification with MF lenses. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
NigelG Posted January 4, 2019 Share #2 Posted January 4, 2019 I think the issue is the word “Novoflex”. I am looking at a cl as an evf body and believe it only works with the (pricey) Leica adapter......
jaapv Posted January 4, 2019 Share #3 Posted January 4, 2019 You can operate the magnification by the arrow buttons. The wheel only works with the Leica adapter, as does the lens recognition.
cwcltd Posted January 4, 2019 Share #4 Posted January 4, 2019 I’ve got it set up on my Left Wheel; On my CL with M35; main menu - customise control - Wheel Assignment - shows P/S/A/M - use Center button directional arrows to alternate Left Wheel ‘A’ between ‘Magnification’ or ‘Exp Comp’. Doesn’t seem to provide this option for the Right Wheel?
