stevegaskin Posted December 19, 2018 Share #1 Posted December 19, 2018 Advertisement (gone after registration) Just acquired this Tele-Elmarit 90mm in decent condition. I believe it's a version 2; if so what ID number should I set in the lens profile for the CL? I'm using it with a Novoflex adaptor. Welcome, dear visitor! stevegaskin Posted December 19, 2018 Author Share #3 Posted December 19, 2018 Hi John, thanks for the info'; the serial number is 3095821
ramarren Posted December 19, 2018 Share #4 Posted December 19, 2018 (edited) This lens is part number 11800, and by the serial number, was made in 1981. The CL has a specific lens profile for it: "90mm f/2.8 11800". You can find the part numbers for lenses and such on the Leica Wiki pages: http://www.l-camera-forum.com/leica-wiki.en/index.php/M_Lenses_x_Focal_Length Edited December 19, 2018 by ramarren

johntobias Posted December 19, 2018 Share #6 Posted December 19, 2018 ramarren beat me to it, do you need to 6 bit code it or has your m-l adaptor not got the reader like the original one?
stevegaskin Posted December 20, 2018 Author Share #7 Posted December 20, 2018 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi John, the Novoflex doesn't recognise the lens. I guess the Leica one does but I can't really justify the difference of £80 vs £300 for a lens that I probably won't use that often. Here's a couple 'first pics' taken this morning, adjusted using Affinity Photo. Welcome, dear visitor!
