It's on the London Underground network and missing the little signs suggesting you Stand on the Right - you can see where they have been removed. The signs serve two purposes. One to inform, the other to prevent the use of the metal alongside the escalator as a slide. These were removed so Xavier Bardem and Daniel Craig could slide down the escalator in the chase scene in Skyfall. Ther District Line sign below is a relic from the film - Charing Cross is Northern/Jubilee line The station is an unused portion of Charing Cross station which was left as a spur off the main Jubilee Line when it was re-routed from Green Park into Westminster. This part of Charing Cross has also been used In the Bourne Ultimatum and Paddington. Welcome, dear visitor! The London tube is a unique experience - when in London we always buy a tourist pass, and mainly use the tube, only occasionally the excellent buses. The Paris metro is also a special experience.
