MLochmansPhoto Posted October 25, 2018 Share #1 Posted October 25, 2018 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) I can't imagine that The Leica Story by The Luminous Landscape isn't already known here on the forum. I have looked for it but couldn't find it. If the link is already known I apologize for this post. But I stumbled upon it on Youtube and its a 3 hour plus tour in the Leica Factory which gives a fascinating insight in what Leica is and stands for. So...for anyone that hasn't seen it.....enjoy. Note to Admin... I think this post is perhaps better placed in the Leica & General Discussions part of the forum, sorry for the inconvenience. ianman Posted October 25, 2018 Share #4 Posted October 25, 2018 (edited) I wouldn't worry about it. Considering the number of bag advice seeking posts... or what lenses to take on next trip 🙄 And anyway, it's interesting viewing so people who missed the other posts get another opportunity to see the videos ! bags27 Posted October 25, 2018 Share #5 Posted October 25, 2018 (edited) As someone of Jewish decent, I want to add that the Leitz family saved a large number of German Jews before the war by sending them to "work" in their New York office where they remained during the war. And then the family hid at least one German Jew during the war, for which Mr. Leitz's wife was jailed until the Nazis eventually released her under pressure.
