PiotrGoreckiJr Posted October 15, 2018 Share #1 Posted October 15, 2018 Advertisement (gone after registration) The manual states that the fastest sync speed for flash photography is 1/500s, but in some reviews online I read that it will work up to 1/2000s (maximal mechanical shutter speed). antigallican Posted October 15, 2018 Share #2 Posted October 15, 2018 Yes the Leica Q will indeed synch at 2000th of a second, as indeed any leaf shutter will synch at its maximum mechanical speed. There is no question of the sensor being covered during part of the exposure, which is the issue with focal plane shutters.
