where to get a good price for the 11-22 olympus four thirds? any ideas?

Ebay sells a bunch of them with Cameta Camera being one of the most reliable sources.

The last seven auctions I monitored on eBay averaged out at £400.

 

New from a (reliable) retailer in Hong Kong recently, £356 (I thought about it but didn't buy).

I´ll buy mine four months ago at Adorama at a very good price, and in four days it was at home.

i bought mine from Cameta on ebay for US$610, i never regretted it

it has the slightest barrel that is only evident when objects are particularly close

and it is very sharp in the zone of F4/5.6,

at 2.8 it exhibits the slightest softness in the extreme corners as you can see in the following frame of a kitchen,

the front left is OOF because i was a tw@t in the way i handled it.

Where the antique wallpaper of the dining room would show any distortion it makes a supreme view.

It is even given to an unusual interior pano/flash lit scene.

The only problem we in the UK have when buying fropm US/HK/Japan on eBay or direct is that apart from postage costs we get stung for 17.5% VAT + a hefty mail or courier on-cost for the privilege of collecting same. Tends to make it quite expensive unless it is a real bargain (rare).
