Haven't posted in a while as my work environment changed and have been in a long slump and now a move to a new city and new job!  Last weekend I pried the M Mono out of the packing crate and mounted the 50 Cron that was my very first Leica lens and took a walk in a local park with my wife and dog.  I managed to shoot 5 images!  Let's just say I've been uninspired of late and I'm trying again.  Here's one of the lot, nothing too exciting, but I'm happy to have something to post again after a bit of a hiatus.

I've passed the Louisville site twice on the river.  Looked interesting.  Clearly a choice to try?

I thought they had closed the one downtown under the interstate, but maybe they re-opened. The one on Zorn Avenue is a nice one, but the one across the river in Jeffersonville is newer and has great views of Louisville's downtown skyline.

I can remember going to the Zorn Avenue location back in the 70,s when it first opened. Great place to enjoy a whitefish platter and a cold beer while watching the boats go past on the river. The downtown location, the original Kingfish, dated from the 50's.

Yes, it is a Louisville tradition harking back to the era of river boats and steam power, life on the banks of the Ohio River, parsing the murky water on the way to New Orleans. Whenever I go down to Lexington (from Indy) for a basketball or football game I always time my trip so I can have lunch or dinner at Kingfish. It is good food and part of my favorite memories growing up around Louisville as a kid.
