Keith_W Posted October 1, 2018 Share #3 Posted October 1, 2018 I love most B&W pictures, but I have to criticize this one. I know what the colours are like in that place. The B&W version makes it look like any other beach, and not the amazing place that it is. It's a nice photo, but in my mind I keep imagining the colours which are missing. Sorry. abrewer Posted October 1, 2018 Share #4 Posted October 1, 2018 A fine image of one of the best beaches in the world but I have to agree; the magnificent hues of blue in the sea and green in the foliage against that white strand is a stunning sight
war Posted October 1, 2018 Share #5 Posted October 1, 2018 Couldn't this be said about almost any landscape (seascape) photo? It's a creative rendition that requires the viewer to fill in the blanks, I like it for what it is a study of tones and textures. Stuart said it all, "Very nice" .
