Alistairm Posted September 27, 2018 Share #3  Posted September 27, 2018 @Linford - yes I have, during about 30 minutes of demoing one at my local Leica store.  I think the lens works better on the SL than the M, because the EVF provides live feedback on its rendering. LocalHero1953 Posted September 27, 2018 Share #4 Â Posted September 27, 2018 Yes - works fine. Focus magnification is not always helpful when the Thambar is in full on fuzzy mode. I own the new version. I compared it with the old one in the shop and found the old one even fuzzier in focus magnification, but that was probably the result of haze and older glass, rather than optical design differences.
