Great thing is it's also designed for video. https://profoto.com/int/products/lights/off-camera-flashes/profoto-b10
Advertisement Posted September 12, 2018 Posted September 12, 2018 Hi lx1713, Take a look here Profoto B10. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Gobert Posted September 12, 2018 Share #2 Posted September 12, 2018 I’ve seen the same. No Leica TTL, no High Speed. It’s a pity that we have to do it with some Chinese rambam.

Great thing is it's also designed for video. https://profoto.com/int/products/lights/off-camera-flashes/profoto-b10 That's the biggest issue with Leica for me. I under-utilize my Leica SL because it has no HSS capabilities with Profoto. Manual is perfectly okay (I don't use TTL anyways), but often times using faster shutter speed than 1/250 is absolutely necessary and it makes the Leica system not useful. I am a big Profoto fan and use the D1 & D2 in my studio and in the field use the B1X and B2 (though not as much anymore). I pre-ordered the B10 as a replacement for the B2, when I don't need the 500 w/s of the B1X.
sillbeers15 Posted September 13, 2018 Share #4 Posted September 13, 2018 For HSS application, If the new firmware for Nissin MG10 (165ws) flash does allow TTL & HSS Wireless application through SF C1. If you still need more HSS power, the new Maggrip combined two MG10 side by side for 330Ws output.
lx1713 Posted September 13, 2018 Author Share #5 Posted September 13, 2018 ... when I don't need the 500 w/s of the B1X. Likewise. I actually have very little need for 500 w/s most times these days. I just rent when I need AC power and just pull out my old AcuteB. Things has been going compact and mobile (without wires) for a long time for me. The added variable colour temp LEDs are going to be great for video (what I find myself doing anyway). I find myself doing more of video these days.
