Superb series of shots!

How do you get on with a Leica in the City of God? Or more like how do you get out with a Leica!?

Thank you very much !

A friend Christophe Simon AFP had started a local community photography project prior to the 2014 World Cup with the children shooting Nikon Point and Shoot cameras.

My first idea was to post this as a separate thread, because it is very technical and has nothing to do with the beautif images we see here.
But then this is a thread about the Summilux 35 pre-ASPH and these are test shots with my Summilux 35 v2... at different apertures from F1.4 to F5.6
You can see how this lens changes character from wide open and dreamy to clean and very sharp.
All pictures are a slight off center 100% crop from my APSC, TL2 sensor, so on FF they are almost dead center. Focus is always on the large drop in the center.

Left F1.4  - Right F2.0

As you can see there is a large difference from F1.4 to F2.8 which is a bit atypical for most Leica lenses.
Most of the change is in fact in the first half stop:

@dpitt I did a less precise test with my daughter yesterday. Here are 3 pics of her at f1.4, f2 and f2.8. As you say there is a pronounced difference. You can still see a little glow on my copy at f2 and it totally disappears at f2.8.

I cant seem to get them in order so f2 is top and f2.8 is bottom.
