I ordered Flash Q about a week ago and it should arrive soon.  I have the Leica SF-40 flash.  I'll let you know if it works out.  Up until now I've been using a Nikon extension cord to do off camera flash.  Can't do TTL (and that will be the case with the Flash Q as well) but I usually set the flash manually.

I received my FlashQ units today. I am using a Leica SF-40 Flash. Works as expected - manual only. Clearly going to need to brush up on my skills! I also have a Nikon (coiled) extension cord that I was using before. Same thing, manual only. For on the go I think I will just stick with the extension cord because I am just trying to hand hold the flash off camera a moderate amount, just for fill light on backlit subjects. I wanted the FlashQ units if I am working more slowly with the flash on a tripod and want more distance between the flash and the camera witout putting the tripod/flash or camera at risk by pulling something over with the cord. Clever little gadgets.
