Artichoke Posted July 12, 2007 Share #1  Posted July 12, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) this building sits across NYC's Madison Square from the muchly photographed Flatiron building it was meant to be a 100 story skyscraper, but the Great Depression intervened and it was never fully realized the porticos facing Madison Avenue are grand enough for a 100 story building and perhaps a bit over the top for one housing a life insurance company  [ATTACH]45275[/ATTACH]  I tediously cloned out an telephone wire that ran across the frame ...this was taken with a vintage 90 mm 'lux and I dual converted the file from the DNG to boost the DR a larger version can be found here, along with shooting information NYC Photo Gallery by Artichoke Vinagrette at pbase.com  comments & criticism welcome Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
