Advertisement Posted August 22, 2018 Posted August 22, 2018 Hi ajayk, Take a look here Using a Canon L lens with adapter on M262. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
a.noctilux Posted August 22, 2018 Share #2 Posted August 22, 2018 I don't know what is Canon L lens. If you want to use LTM = screw mount old Canon lens it would be simpler with adapter LTM to M mount. If you want to use lens for SLR "L" Canon lens, it's not so good idea. EF "L" lenses don't have aperture that can be set manually. FD "L" can be used but not rangefinder coupled and M262 no liveview can not be used for framing/focussing. tonyniev Posted August 22, 2018 Share #3 Posted August 22, 2018 (edited) Can someone guide me how to use canon lenses with adapter on a M262? If it has already been discussed May kindly send the link. if M262 is an M mount then you can use the Canon EOS (EF/EFS) to M mount adapter. I have a Fotodiox lems mount adapter. This is a simple mechanical mount so no electronic/electrical connections to adjust aperture , autofocus and stabilizer...so need to set the aperture on a Canon or another camera with an adapter in my case my back up is a Sony A7R with metabones Canon EOS to Somy E monut which has electronic contacts. ajayk Posted August 22, 2018 Author Share #4 Posted August 22, 2018 Thanks! That’s too complicated... I think I will avoid using canon lenses
Gregm61 Posted August 23, 2018 Share #5 Posted August 23, 2018 With the M262 not having live view/ability to use the electronic viewfinder, I can't really see wanting to try that with that body.
