Advertisement Posted August 22, 2018 Posted August 22, 2018 Hi notmannotman, Take a look here Stolen Leica M10 serial no. 5193732. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
lanetomlane Posted August 22, 2018 Share #2 Posted August 22, 2018 Bad luck, I can symaphise with you as I had my Monochrom and a bunch of M lenses stolen during the one challenge in Portugal. I would advise you to inform Leica customer service in Germany of the Serial Number so they can identifiy it if it is returned for service or repair. They were certainly happy to take the serial numbers of all my equipment when it went missing. Hopefully you'll see it again. Best of luck Tom
JAC Posted August 22, 2018 Share #3 Posted August 22, 2018 So sorry to hear this. Are you able to share the details of the incident so others can hopefully avoid a similar fate?
budjames Posted August 24, 2018 Share #4 Posted August 24, 2018 Massive bummer. I hope that you had insurance. All of my gear is insured for theft, damage and stupidity. The cost is about 1% of the equipment value per year. Well worth it for the peace of mind. M11 for me Posted August 24, 2018 Share #5 Posted August 24, 2018 (edited) 1% is very cheap. You say "stupidity" was included. Does that mean dropping etc? And of course: I am sorry for what happened to Matt Edited August 24, 2018 by Alex U.
