I just wish Leica would make a Q with a 50mm lens equivalent to the Summilux ASPH. Then I'd never need another camera. Damnit.

50mm 1.4 would be nice. 35 1.4 would be a dream. The price of the M lens equivalent is frightening.

I don’t spend much time “wishing for”. If I did, it would be for a lighter weight M-10. I have a friend with an M-10. Compared to the Q, it is a beast and I fear would be more weight than I want to carry all day. The Q is darn near perfect in that respect. I also am pretty frustrated that repair costs on a Q can be so high. I’ve seen $1500 quoted here multiple times. The captive lens contributes to that. I love my Q, but the possibility of having another lens with me does have appeal. It’s certainly a tradeoff to consider. So, I wish for an MQ-10 that weighs what the Q body weighs. Okay, I’m done wishing. Let’s go take some good images with the Q.

There's a part of me that sort of hopes they don't change the lens. While my "dream Q" would have a 35mm 1.4 - I just don't see that happening. I've been growning very fond of the uniqueness of a 28mm lens for my everyday shooting.
