fred244 Posted August 6, 2018 Share #1 Posted August 6, 2018 Advertisement (gone after registration) My M10 plus macro-adapter-m 14409 (with 'eyes') and 90/4 macro Elmar 11633: lens detection does not identify this setup, gives UNCODED result. Auto lens detection cannot be selected, and this setup exists in the Manual M menu but cannot be selected either. The adapter is 6 bit coded, codes and LEDs are clean, and it is detected on my M240. Current firmware on the M10. Anyone else have the same, or better, experience, with this lens/adapter setup ? Thanks !
Advertisement Posted August 6, 2018 Posted August 6, 2018 Hi fred244, Take a look here M10 lens detection. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
UliWer Posted August 6, 2018 Share #2 Posted August 6, 2018 (edited) Sorry I misunderstood, thought you meant the new Macro-Adapter-M without goggles. Is the old adapter with goggles coded - can you tell the code, please? If you choose the Elmar 90/4 11633/11634 (or any other lens you like) from the list in the menu, the detection will work - but of course not automatically. Only if you choose the old Macro-Adapter M+90/4 14409 from the list, it will indicate „uncoded“. Interesting to know that it works with the M (Typ 240). What is indicated by the M 240 for the old „goggled“ Macro-Adapter? Edited August 6, 2018 by UliWer
adan Posted August 6, 2018 Share #3 Posted August 6, 2018 Known issue - a quick search of the forum reveals. https://www.l-camera-forum.com/topic/281263-goggled-macro-adapter-m-is-coded-but-not-recognized-by-m10/ https://www.l-camera-forum.com/topic/268492-m10-fw-requestsbug-reports/page-20 etc
fred244 Posted August 6, 2018 Author Share #4 Posted August 6, 2018 UliWer - see the previous post apparently a known problem, thanks adan ! Yes the goggles adapter is 6 bit coded. The M240 shows 90/4 and the EXIF shows adapter and 90/4 information. Yes the M10 can be manually selected for the 90/4, sure that will work fine now.
