However, bear in mind that the FAQ are universal and that the M10 has advanced over the M8 They could do with some updating.

2.  Leica and top brands are neutral grey so color balance is unchanged.   Older Leitz,  and cheap  brands may be green tinted.   Do white balance  with grey card if you have problems.  See instruction book.  

 

Leica rendering is among the very best.  Do not worry.

Solution for Battery ?!

I found on amazon "CableDeconn USB to 5.5 mm/2.1 mm 5 Volt DC Barrel Jack Power Cable" on this link https://www.amazon.com/CableDeconn-Volt-Barrel-Power-Cable/dp/B012VLKXKM/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1533799511&sr=8-5&keywords=usb+to+laptop+power+cable

 

Can I use the cable to connect the charger to the power bank safely. It might be better than using the car port?!

A car is 12V, USB is less than half at 5V. Even if it would work after a fashion, it is likely that it will take ages to charge a battery. What is the problem with using the 12V socket in your car?

 

I would be rather nervous about having a single battery as well. Assuming that you travel by plane from time to time, can't you buy a  couple of batteries in the tax-free at the airport (pre-order, of course)?

 

How did you solve the problem for your Nikon?

In the past Qatar's customs allow importing batteries so I could buy extra batteries for Nikon. Regarding charging from the car; on trips I rid a tour bus and there is no car sockets! I will check regarding pre-order - Airport. Or I might buy 2 batteries at the countries Leica's dealers

I was looking for a USB charging method myself, as I found an USB charger for my CL which I found super convenient. Leica should add a connector to their chargers, IMHO. Found this one, but did not yet order it. Some Powerbanks actually put out quite some juice. So even transformed to 12V it just do the job.

 

On the spare battery side I would definitely buy a second one, and if it is only for reducing the risk. The M10 does eat the Battery relatively quickly - depends on usage pattern, of course. Just do not expect something like 700 frames. if will be much lower.
