charlesphoto99 Posted July 10, 2007 Share #1 Posted July 10, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Thought you might like to see a M8 shot with location Profoto lights (with softboxes) and balanced ambient light. I haven't totally tweaked this image yet but pretty close (still needs some individual face work at least). Shows this is a pretty great all around camera. Shot at ISO 160 about f8 if I recall with 24mm with filter and coding enabled.
Advertisement Posted July 10, 2007 Posted July 10, 2007 Hi charlesphoto99, Take a look here M8 not just for reportage..... I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
ho_co Posted July 10, 2007 Share #2 Posted July 10, 2007 Charles-- Those guys look as if they're saying, "You better get this right after bringing us all the way out here." And you did just that. (As a Mac user, I like the graffito over the front man's shoulder. ) A lot of effort went into the shot, and it shows! --HC
charlesphoto99 Posted July 10, 2007 Author Share #3 Posted July 10, 2007 Thanks HC. Actually this was the easy one. The day before we drove an hour and a half out to a clearcut. After dragging the gear 200 yards from the road we had all of 45 minutes to shoot before it just started pissing down. Got back in the van and headed back to the city. Nicest bunch of guys you'll ever meet though you wouldn't know it from the music they play!
ho_co Posted July 10, 2007 Share #4 Posted July 10, 2007 Nicest bunch of guys you'll ever meet though you wouldn't know it from the music they play! LOL! Persona is all, I guess. They're probably all classically trained, but wouldn't want that to spoil their image... --HC
