what happened to the instructions for uploading photos. I'm still having problems here. I'm using lightroom and not sure how to get the image the right size. I have converted to JPEG This usually makes it about 6MG. So I try to resize it using pixels ie 960 x640. It shrinks to a size I can hardly see on my screen. When people post in the landscape forum their images are 'big'. Can anyone post me an idiots guide.

In LR Export try setting things as follows:

jpeg; quality slider to 66; sRGB; 72 ppi; constrain size; 960x640. I find that if the resulting file is too large then adjust the quality slider accordingly.

There was a Sticky with Tips for posting multiple images which gave the procedure, but on a quick look I can't seem to find it again. Basically - use the paperclip icon.!

This is probably because Lightroom is displaying the image, on your screen, at a percentage of the original size. My DMR images are about 20% of actual size when displayed on my monitor. Reducing one to 960 pixels wide, means that they are DISPLAYED at around 100 pixels - pretty tiny. Show them at 100% magnification, and Bob's your uncle (browsers don't shrink images remember)
