"WALKING IN THE DARK" during a nocturnal guided tour of Kings Dyke Nature Reserve, Whittlesey near Peterborough UK. The visitors are walking on the Oxford clay seabed of what was once, in its Jurassic period, the Tethys Ocean. Many museums worldwide exhibit Peterborough brick pits Jurassic carnivore fossils, e.g., ichthyosaurs, plesiosaurs and marine crocodiles.  Nowadays, the reserve has the greatest flora and fauna diversity compared to any other UK reserve.
