Does it make any difference if I shoot with the lens extended or colapsed I'm assuming it will as the PIV will change Neil There was an artist two decades ago or so who made great selling pictures made with the Elmar 2.8 lens collapsed , so feel free to try this way ! It is a special bokeh. He once was invited to make an exhibition in a villa where he was commisioned to take his dreamy pictures. [If I remember, shortly after that he changed his modus operandi. Maybe he got the money to buy a real Summicron?]. You can put some rubber around the tube - so it does not retract all the way - to get the amount of special effect you like. 🤩
