Advertisement Posted May 12, 2018 Posted May 12, 2018 Hi dkCambridgeshire, Take a look here Swaddywell Pond Skater. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
dkCambridgeshire Posted May 12, 2018 Author Share #2 Posted May 12, 2018 (edited) … also photographed Swaddywell Water Snails with the aid of a polarising filter Welcome, dear visitor! As registered member you'd see an image here… Simply register for free here – We are always happy to welcome new members! The Canon FD 200mm Macro lens is useful for insects because of its relatively long lens to subject distance compared to 100mm lenses. Usually it's mounted on a tripod via its tripod collar but yesterday, to get the lens nearer to the water, the camera was mounted on the tripod. The lens is 36 years young and needs a service to remedy 'focus slackness' - which slows down manual focusing. Tomorrow it's being shipped to Newton Ellis in Liverpool for its overdue and deserved full stripdown service. dunk Edited May 12, 2018 by dkCambridgeshire
 Simply register for free here – We are always happy to welcome new members!
