In honor of the 100th anniversary of Jerome Robbins' birth, the NY City Ballet is presenting a large number of his works.  Before last Saturday's performance of Fancy Free, Dybbuk and West Side Story Suite we attended  a presentation about Robbins.

I only got to one performance this past winter, but it was a good one: Sara Mearns dancing Odette/Odille in Swan Lake

 

She is incredibly beautiful of face and form

Allan - Thank you.  Sara is one of our favorites, as are both Fairchilds (who are out of the company doing Broadway and other things).  Another of our favorites, Ashley Bouder, who will be at the Joyce at the beginning of July.  I'll email you about that.
