Original Photograph and Development:
Auchindrain open air township museum, Argyll, Scotland
August 2022
Leica MP/35FLE
Kodak Tri-X @ 1600
Caffenol C-L/S 90' semi-stand, 20ºC (B&W version posted here previously)


Digital Negative:
Digitized film negative with custom Cyanotype curve in Photoshop
Printed at 9x13.5” on A3+ Innova Pictorico Pro OHP Ultra Transparency Film with Canon Pro 300 Inket


Cyanotype Print:
Exposure and Development 22nd October 2022
Hahnemühle Platinum Rag 11x15” Paper 
3ml+3ml (overkill but good depth of coating) 10% original cyanotype mix
Paper dried 3hrs
24mins UV lamp exposure
2’30” citric acid bath (1.5l warm tap water + ¾ tsp citric acid crystals, print face up)
2x 5 mins wash face down, 1.5l warm tap water
Dried and digitised

Planning to tone to black or purple after some more experimentation.

Kodak Gold 200 is one of my absolute favorite film stocks. My RNI simulation profile looks nowhere near as good as the real thing.

Oh yes, very expired (2010, IIRC). Its been in my freezer most of that time. I might had it in other storage for a time. I got the M3 in part because the stash was calling to me. Also, I had all those lenses just hanging out, might as well!

How great.  Now I see why this film keeps getting mentioned as a classic  , looks great!

The RNI one goes quite a green cast doesn't it ?  I like the 'E 200' one ... M10 shots with that profile seems to sit well with 'real life' Portra and Gold .  Sometimes I come back to them months later and can't remember if it was film or digital so that is promising

Yes, the RNI versions often show a rather ugly blue-green cast, which I don't see in your real life film photos. I agree that the E 200 one is much better in that regard.
