wlaidlaw Posted July 6, 2007 Share #1 Posted July 6, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) I am currently arranging to go to South Africa in October/November to have my knee replaced. Air Namibia is offering the best club class fare to Cape Town (my knee does not like conforming to coach class seat pitches for long flights). The additional advantage is that you can do a stop over in Windhoek. Having seen various peoples' stunning photos of Namibia, I thought I would like to go on a brief holiday/photo course in Namibia of about 4 to 5 days duration. Given the current rate of deterioration of my knee, it is unlikely that I will be able to walk a great deal (maybe 1 km maximum) and climbing up dunes higher than about 20 meters is almost certainly out. I am a competent quad bike rider, having my own Yoshimura-Yamaha Raptor 700cc quad. Has anyone any personal recommendations? Most of the courses I have seen seem very Canon or Nikon specific. andybarton Posted July 6, 2007 Share #2 Posted July 6, 2007 Never mind the manufacturer, feel the width. Canon/Nikon don't matter much. If it's a course, take advantage.
