Advertisement Posted April 19, 2018 Posted April 19, 2018 Hi Fgcm, Take a look here M262 color profile. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
tom24 Posted April 20, 2018 Share #2 Posted April 20, 2018 Unfortunately, there is no support for this device yet. I wrote about this to Phase One support and they say they regret that there is really no M262 profile and that it will be shortly. I'm waiting for. Fgcm Posted April 20, 2018 Author Share #3 Posted April 20, 2018 Yesterday Phase One issued a new release (11.1) of C1 which has a true M262 profile. Your wait is over
tom24 Posted April 20, 2018 Share #4 Posted April 20, 2018 (edited) No, please chack - there is NO profile for M262. My question to Phase One support: " I chech once more. There is just Adobe DNG File Nutral profile and Adobe File DNG Workspace. I do not see any native DNG profile for Leica M262.Chan you chack. Thank you." answer Phase one support: " Hi Tomaz, Sorry about this but I get the same result this end. I have reported this to our tdevelopment team and hopefully they will hhave thisfixed quickly! Kind regards Phase One Support" So, chech once again. There is no profile for M262 in C1 version 11.1. Or maybe I see something wrong? Regards. Fgcm Posted April 20, 2018 Author Share #6 Posted April 20, 2018 Ciao Tom, I see two M262 profiles. One is named "Leica M (Typ 262) Generic", the second is labeled "Leica M (Typ 262) Generic V2" This is a sample picture. Nothing special, but it gives you an idea of how the profile renders. tom24 Posted April 20, 2018 Share #7 Posted April 20, 2018 Advertisement (gone after registration) Thank you. I do not know why, but I do not see this profile for M262 like you. I updated to version 11.1.. Strange???
tom24 Posted April 20, 2018 Share #8 Posted April 20, 2018 Maybe because I have leica MD (Type 262) ???

tom24 Posted April 21, 2018 Share #10 Posted April 21, 2018 Thanx But I do not have this profile in my version of C1 11.1 Something is wrong and I do not know what????
Fgcm Posted April 21, 2018 Author Share #11 Posted April 21, 2018 Tom, Phase One apparently messed up something. When I open an old DNG previously processed with engine 9, i see a different profile and colors are weird. Reprocessing the same DNG with engine 11, the new profile pops up and I get nice colors. But, if I search for it in the profile list, M262 is not there. My guess: thy messed up something related to the profile menu. Phase One will probably release an update or fix up this release in the next few days. Ciao Franco
tom24 Posted April 21, 2018 Share #12 Posted April 21, 2018 Grazie, thanx Franco :-) Ciao Tomaz
arichter Posted April 21, 2018 Share #13 Posted April 21, 2018 I am seeing the same what Franco describes. Except I do not know how to re-process older engine 11 images after upgrading from 11.0 to 11.1. It's the same engine version but colors are wrong and the two profile options are: "Leica M (Typ 262) Neutral" and "Leica M (Typ 262) Color Corrected Indoor" . Newly imported images are fine, and the profiles are different: "Leica M (Typ 262) Generic" and "Leica M (Typ 262) Generic V2". Time to contact Phase One support, I guess. tom24 Posted April 22, 2018 Share #14 Posted April 22, 2018 I'm sorry, I tried everything, but unfortunately I do not see any Leica M (Type 262) profiles. There is only profile DNG File Neutral in Engine:Capture one 11. In profiles lis there are different profiles (like M10, M240...) only profile Leica M262 is not there. :-( I contact Phase One support again. Thanx. David North Posted April 22, 2018 Share #16 Posted April 22, 2018 Dear Tomaz, I do not wish to appearing patronising, however this question is based on my own experience. Are you absolutely sure that you have v11.1? Even if you are sure, then may I suggest that you still check for any updates. If this fails to populate an M262 colour profile, then and as already has been suggested, perhaps a complete deletion and then fresh reinstallation of the programme may be a solution. Even after this I would still check for an update! Good luck Tomaz, however to be perfectly honest, you are not missing much by the absence of the M262 colour profile. Regards and best wishes, David
David North Posted April 22, 2018 Share #17 Posted April 22, 2018 Correction, "...I do not wish to appear patronising...". My apologies for the typing error. Regards and best wishes, David

marchyman Posted April 24, 2018 Share #19 Posted April 24, 2018 Maybe because I have leica MD (Type 262) ??? I think that is the answer to your question. An M 262 is not an MD 262 and without tests to prove otherwise I'd not expect them to use the same profiles. That's my guess, anyway.
tom24 Posted April 24, 2018 Share #20 Posted April 24, 2018 Thanks to all for help and opinions. That's it. :-( Answer of Phase one support: "Hi Tomaz, We are not yet supporting the MD262 is not yet supported in Capture One. I can put a feature request in for this to be added but cannot comment on if and when this will happen Kind regards Phase One Support"
