Advertisement Posted July 6, 2007 Posted July 6, 2007 Hi the.na, Take a look here Electronic Flash Unit for Leica M3. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Michael Hiles Posted July 6, 2007 Share #2 Posted July 6, 2007 No. There is a flash contact on the back of the camera (one for flash bulbs, one for electronic flash), and they need an adapter to make them usable by the standard compur contact. A competent Leica specialist should have these in a drawer somewhere. The M2 also needs them. For a hot shoe-only flash unit, I think there are little hot shoe devices that connect to a standard camera socket via a short cable.
