intex Posted July 5, 2007 Share #1 Posted July 5, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) I sent away for the free UV filters that came with the purchase of the M8, over 3 months ago, but still have received none, who should I contact to see if they ever received the postcards? I do not want to be waiting here, if they never received my request. Thanks

matt736 Posted July 5, 2007 Share #2 Posted July 5, 2007 Robert, I would send another email to the reply email that you got from Leica M8 Support Team when you ordered your 2 filters. They are very responsive and as long as the filters are in stock you will see something soon, Cheers Matthew. Shootist Posted July 5, 2007 Share #3 Posted July 5, 2007 I sent away for the free UV filters that came with the purchase of the M8, over 3 months ago, but still have received none, who should I contact to see if they ever received the postcards?I do not want to be waiting here, if they never received my request. Thanks The POST card is for registering for the WARRANTY!!! Not for the 2 free filters. You have to go to the Leica M8 website and there you will see a link to REGISTER, click on that link and fill in all the info. The online registration if just for the free filters and you will received a confirmation email with the sizes and colors you have selected.
Guest WPalank Posted July 5, 2007 Share #4 Posted July 5, 2007 Good luck. Many of us have been waiting over 6 months!
marknorton Posted July 6, 2007 Share #5 Posted July 6, 2007 I've now received 2 60s and a 55, still waiting for a 67 and two more 55s. The good news is that the 55 fits inside the lens hood of the 21 and 24 Elmarits without any problems where the B+W filter is reported as being a tight fit.
