Just got this little gem in today from B&H. Preliminary shots around the house are telling me I’m going to absolutely positively love this guy. Small, lightweight, minimal vf encroachment, wonderful screw on hood, quick focus, positive aperture clicks, banging sharp. Zone focusing works like a charm using f11. I did a mega crop on a dng pic of my dog in LR and couldn’t believe the detail remaining in the shot afterwards. Here’s the dog shot, and of course the new 28mm on my m10.

I don't use the hood as the lens is nearly flare free. Mine has a somewhat problematic aperture ring which occasionally will click at the position of 1/3 of a stop before it goes to 1/2 stop positions. I may need to send it to leica.

Good to know about the flare resistance. Leaving the hood behind would darn near half the size of the lens.
