How they started was actually quite controversial as the head chef/owner of Da Dong used to be a cook at the most prestigious and famed Peking Duckery in Beijing called Quan Ju De. I'm concerned the ducks here are not going to be as authentic as both the feeding method and cooking method used traditionally are deemed unacceptable here in the States.
