LichtUndDunkelheit Posted February 16, 2018 Share #1 Posted February 16, 2018 Advertisement (gone after registration) I have to say so far I really hate this forum software. - If you multiquote too many, it just tells you you multiquoted too many. Doesnt even tell you how many you can multiquote at maximum or gives you a chance to remove quotes from the selection or simply gives you the error message the moment you attempt to quote too many. - You cannot delete parts of a quote by selecting it and pressing backspace. This will immediately kill the whole quote, i.e. the rest of the quote will no longer be displayed as a quote, just as regular text. You have to select the end and press backspace until it finally has removed all you wanted removed. Which takes a while if you quote a 2 page posting and all you want to quote is a single sentence from that. - And if you did a multiquote, it gets worse. The whole damn window gets closed if you select something and press backspace. All you typed and did and the multiquotes are all gone. Was it really so bad to have a good old bbcode solution in which you can just [quote=here goes the pointer to the posting you quoted]and here is the text you quoted from that posting ... ? This way I can for example even write my posting in an external editor.

LichtUndDunkelheit Posted February 19, 2018 Author Share #3 Posted February 19, 2018 Works for me now btw, no idea what was going on before. I can copy quotes, even, but then the link to the original posting is gone.
