I just like the energy in this shot .. this is a Newfoundland Bird Dog ... matches the dog, calm but loves to move and get out and hunt ... owner said if you keep him in an apartment the apartment would be destroyed by the time you got home ... These little cutesy dogs often win and I don't understand enough about judging to know why. Personally, I was rooting for the border collie (saw them in person, and they were beautiful, more so than the mangy working ones I saw a couple of years ago in a visit to the Lake District) but thought the spaniel would win (who I liked as well).
