Advertisement Posted July 3, 2007 Posted July 3, 2007 Hi fishdrummer, Take a look here fisheyes and M8. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
jaapv Posted July 3, 2007 Share #2 Posted July 3, 2007 Maybe, if you can find a Visoflex adapter...
Joe Mondello Posted July 3, 2007 Share #3 Posted July 3, 2007 I would like to add a nice fisheye to my arsenal for the M8...will the 8 nikkor work? Which 8 Nikkor I guess is the question. I have a 60s era 8mm f/8 which can only be used on a Nikon with the mirror locked up and projects a circular image. That one is really deep and even with a Visoflex I'd be worried about it being too deep and getting in the way of the shutter. I know there are other FE Nikkors and I suppose If I could force the aperture open on my DX 10.5 I might be able to us it with an adapter. That's be cool! ns_ng Posted July 4, 2007 Share #4 Posted July 4, 2007 I would like to add a nice fisheye to my arsenal for the M8...will the 8 nikkor work? Hi, Have a look at the Nikkor-to-M adaptor from Novoflex. This might work. N.S.
marknorton Posted July 4, 2007 Share #5 Posted July 4, 2007 The 10.5 could be used with the CameraQuest Nikon to M adapter, but it's a G lens with no aperture ring. It's also a DX lens for a sensor size slightly smaller than the M sensor, so you would probably need to crop the images.
