antigallican Posted January 17, 2018 Share #41  Posted January 17, 2018 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) It's very easy to know how many exposures I've made with the SL: every SL exposure I've made has been loaded into my Lightroom database, I can tell how many I have by setting LR to display only original images and looking at the count.  Thanks. I don't think this is reliable - at least it's not working for me - L1050001 is the first number in the database (3rd July 17) and L1280891 is the most recent giving 230,890 in under 6 months. It's 1265 a day - and I have two other cameras.  I haven't reset at all and I'm not a press photog!  added later - counting files made with the camera (which is of course what you wrote) gives me 10,022 which is about half of those I shot (I cull in photomechanic before fetching things into LR). I would guess 20,000 is about right. Phew! It would include quite a number of electronic shutter, though. thighslapper Posted January 18, 2018 Share #42 Â Posted January 18, 2018 you do realise the camera creates a new older when it gets to 999 and not 9999 as you would expect (this is an uncorrected bug from day 1) ...... so you can divide your total by 10 ......
