stuny Posted August 6, 2006 Share #2 Posted August 6, 2006 Amado - I expect at least one of our Forum Members to comment on the yellow cast, but it is real. A lovely capture at the perfect height to "stack" the bridges.
vic vic Posted August 6, 2006 Share #3 Posted August 6, 2006 amado i alo love those photo very much both - but the 1st one seems to me with greater emotional depth.
hm1912 Posted August 6, 2006 Share #4 Posted August 6, 2006 I like them both too, and agree with Victor. There is something about the first one that gives it an added sense of depth.

leicamann Posted August 8, 2006 Share #6 Posted August 8, 2006 Second image does it for me, beautiful city..to bad about the polluted river. Oh just for people who think this kind of pollution is unchangable, pollution is an activity, in this case a human activity. Stop the polluting action and you 'll get a beautiful clean river again:) In this case its up to the people of Florence and the greater area in and around Italy especially starting from the city of Arezzo all the way to Pisa..so its a National problem,we are no better in Canada:( Thanks for posting and sharing No mention of the camera body , so I'll assume from here some Canon EOS. Regards, Leica Mann:)
andybarton Posted August 8, 2006 Share #7 Posted August 8, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) The EXIF says it's a D-Lux, Leicamann. The colour in the second shot is incredible.
PhotoArchival Posted August 9, 2006 Author Share #8 Posted August 9, 2006 Thanks Andy and Leicamann. Leicamann, Andy was right. The pictures were taken with a D-lux. I also agree with the pollution bit...it is every where and very terrible. Amado You're going to reap just what you sow..............
biglouis Posted August 9, 2006 Share #9 Posted August 9, 2006 Just wanted to add my admiration for the second shot. I like the fact that the colour appears to be divided into two common areas. The detail is fantastic and for me that is what makes the shot so interesting. It would be the kind of print you'd enjoy looking at because there would always be something new to discover in the picture. LouisB
stuny Posted August 9, 2006 Share #10 Posted August 9, 2006 Since "pollution" came up -- Leicaman is right that the pollution is reversable. Starting with actrivism by Pete Seeger, the Hudon River has come back from being pretty much a dead river in its lower 100 KM.
