helged Posted January 1, 2018 Share #1 Â Posted January 1, 2018 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) All the best for the new year! Â This is likely a question on the side of most user's use, but the compactness of CL with smaller lenses (18mm TL, 40mm C, MS-Optical lenses, etc), I would like to bring with me the CL when running, fixed to the body, so a hip-belt could/should be an option. The belt option needs to be steady and relatively comfortable. Â Anyone with experiences/suggestions in this respect - please chime in! Â Thanks... LocalHero1953 Posted January 1, 2018 Share #3 Â Posted January 1, 2018 Peak Design Capture Camera Clip, perhaps with the Pro Pad. I have the earlier CapturePro, which I use strapped to my backpack shoulder strap. I don't run with it but it sounds like the sort of thing you're looking for.
hkgmatt Posted January 1, 2018 Share #4 Â Posted January 1, 2018 Many small running backpacks have a wide belt with zipped pockets on both sides for energy gels and the like which are often big enough to accommodate a small camera.
wildlightphoto Posted January 2, 2018 Share #5 Â Posted January 2, 2018 I'd think it would bounce too much no matter how it's carried.
jmahto Posted January 4, 2018 Share #6 Â Posted January 4, 2018 I would simply hold it in my hand. I have jogged with N x6+CV15II and for couple of miles it is not a problem. But if you are serious jogger then maybe not (just use phone then).

For hiking it is ok but not for jogging. Although I have seen some promo pics of people jogging. If you do want to then either carry in hand or put it in fanny pack behind lower back. It will still bounce but not much.
ramarren Posted January 4, 2018 Share #8 Â Posted January 4, 2018 Something like the Peak Design Sling 5L bag might work. I bought one to carry a light kit (M-D + lens or two) for bicycling/motorcycling but haven't used it yet. I was encouraged that when fitted properly, it was snug to my body and didn't seem to move around much. Â Running ... anything with a camera in it might prove a bit heavy, you might need to add a belly band to keep it tied down.
