Finally i am all done. My leica filter showed up today from fed x with my last one the 60mm for my 75 lux and just bought one from a forum member for my Nocti when it comes. ALL my lenses now have leica filters. Glad that is something to put behind me just install and shoot now

I do find it somewhat irritating that my local Leica dealer in Nice has a number of 60mm filters on the shelf and I am still waiting for mine from January.

Wilson Email M8.support and you should have yours by the end of this week or the beginning of next.

Leica needs a nudge every now and then. I've had to nudge them twice now but both times I had my filters with in 3-4 days.

Ed,

I think it has reached the stage where Jessica must say OMG not HIM again! She told me last time that I am on the list for an urgent filter but they have no control over the third party agency, which is dispatching them. I was supposed to get it last week. I received a 46mm filter long ago and they also sent me a silver 43mm in error, which in any case did not fit as the thread was wrongly cut. I tried it just out of interest to see what it looked like on a black lens, since Leica decided not to do a black filter in this size - even if it had fitted, it looked awful. I am sticking with my black B+W 486 43mm. Maybe they are waiting to get my Noctilux out of final test and will send me both in one package - some hope! I said cynically to Chet, from whom I bought the Nocti - final technical testing "Hey Fritz does this look like a black Noctilux to you?" Ja Hans - that's what it looks like to me." "OK then it's good enough to send it back to the owner."

Well I emailed support last Wednesday or Thursday and 2 of my 3 remaining filters arrived yesterday in separate packages from Julia Kuester, MT Logistik GmbH, Henri-Duffaut-Strasse, Wetzlar Germany DE. With one referenced to the first M8 serial # and the other to the second Purchased M8 serial #. They were both FedEx'ed on the 28 of June.

As soon as I hear that someone else has received a 49mm (E49) filter I will email them one more time.

It has been my experience that the squeaky wheel either get the grease or gets tossed in the junk pile. Hopefully I won't end up in the junk pile.

I received a 60 and a 55 last week and just today snagged a 2nd 60 (at full list price) on eBay . It lasted 12 minutes . I have seen some Silver 55 s but not the Black .

I got a black 55 yesterday.

What's the M8 Support email address? I have never seen that on their website before.

Ed,

I emailed Jessica yet again today asking where my e60 is. Maybe it is wheezing its way across France in Fedex France's elderly, battered, 2CV van - yes really, that is what my last Fedex package turned up in, delivered by their local agent. My Noctilux was sent out on the 4th but has not arrived so far - chug, chug cough!

What have I done wrong? Still waiting for my E60 from January. Now I have got my Nocti back and it all works well, I need the filter ASAP. Jessica says it will be on its way but so is Christmas.
