graphictree Posted December 22, 2017 Share #1 Posted December 22, 2017 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) Ive wanted to go to Kathmandu since I was a teenager before the first Star Wars was made and finally made it a few weeks ago as a short side trip (4 days) from a work visit to India. Only convinced me to go again before Episode IX comes out! Attached one of many pictures of pigeons in the main square. Shot with Leica Q and cropped slightly. Gareth Welcome, dear visitor! stuny Posted December 23, 2017 Share #2 Posted December 23, 2017 Lovely. Let's see some more. We were disappointed that unlike in other Hindu areas we were not permitted into the temples, but we did visit the Kumari, which you might want to do during your next visit. Where in India are you presently working?
graphictree Posted December 28, 2017 Author Share #3 Posted December 28, 2017 Hi! thanks for your kind comment. Only had 2 weeks in India (Delhi and Gujarat) so now back in wet and cold UK. Will find some more Kathmandu pics to post soon. I must say Kathmandu was the first place I ve been in for many years where I didn't think 'It's nice but I'd rather be in China'. stuny Posted December 29, 2017 Share #4 Posted December 29, 2017 We really enjoyed our China visits, but there are legions of places that can make you feel that way other than China.
