An acanthus was one of my first posts on the Photo Forum. They're blooming again in the garden now, so I'll try to reciprocate soon. Steve. PS - Oh now I see, my old post has returned. A couple of years back I started an architectural dissertation on the role of the acanthus in the Corinthian column but it didn't get very far which is partly why you see me here. Curious.
