eawriter Posted December 6, 2017 Share #1 Posted December 6, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) I downloaded and installed the 1.0.2.0 firmware update for my Monochrom Typ 246. But I couldn't find on the Leica website a PDF like they issued for the previous firmware update that explained what the update fixed and/or changed. Is there one? Does anyone know what difference the new firmware makes in the camera's features or functionality? Thank you.

It is on the Leica.com website. It is just mixed in and out of order with the other downloads.
overexposed Posted May 22, 2019 Share #6 Posted May 22, 2019 found it and installed it, doesnt fix my issue nonetheless. let me ask you guys, i have the issue that when i have images on my sd card, shot with the 246, and had them opened with photoshop and then close the image without making changes to the RAW, when i put back the sd card and i want to review the file on the camera, the screen stays black for a long time, the red activity LED blinks and after some 10 maybe 20 seconds it shows just the filename instead the image itself. i contacted the leica support, but after a few mails back and forth i didnt get any reply from them anymore, really frustrating. i also asked for a feature to be able to move the magnified area, just like the m10 can, but well leica isnt fuji, are they? Lock the SD card before reading it on your computer. The computer treats the SD card as an external disk and writes files to it. Reading those files first is what slows your camera down. Best thing to do is to format the card then going forward, lock the card before reading it on your computer or iPad.
Alistairm Posted July 6, 2019 Share #8 Posted July 6, 2019 The firmware also gets rid of the “check battery age” message.
