Minigill Posted November 26, 2017 Share #1 Posted November 26, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) Never mind the quality of the pics.... the unboxing experience So having looked at a nice brown box from Mayfair for a week whilst I have doubted, had second thoughts of should I try the CL (Q is my 'backup' camera to my Fuji... back up as in, grab and go and not worry about which lens !!), I have broken open the outer box ! I have decided to keep the Q after some very helpful posts on this forum made my mind up (read as confirmed my initial reasons for buying a Q). What an experience the unboxing is !! Gently pulls out the little tab on the silver box, woohoo, all sides open at the same time revealing a treasure trove of little pull out draws, soft bags for each item, oh and the camera ain't bad either Lovely packaging ! All of which Leica owners are well aware of as I guess all cameras arrive this beautifully presented. This is my first Leica though so I didn't know Battery now charging... and lots of little Leica bags all over the floor ! One happy lady ! Now, wonder if Wotancraft have any black friday deals !!

Keep all those little bags and boxing; should you choose to sell one day your buyer will likely want them and might pay less without them. Guest Posted November 27, 2017 Share #7 Posted November 27, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) I no longer shoot everyday, but when I open my satchel after a while, I see that camera and realize how great it is. Unless I were to resume my professional life as a photographer, I am perfectly content with just that body. Enjoy it! Alton

Rob I am a little OCD with original packaging and keep every last thing purchases come with, especially for re sale. Luckily I have a large dry storage area which is full of Hifi & AV related items, 2 mini seats (changed to JCW ones !) and packaging materials. The camera boxes are in draws under the bed
