microview Posted December 27, 2017 Share #21 Â Posted December 27, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) Might be worth 'pretending' it's a 28mm Leica lens as Zeiss has always preferred that setting for its 35 2.8 lens, for instance.
Advertisement Posted December 27, 2017 Posted December 27, 2017 Hi microview, Take a look here New Zeiss or used M?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Steve McGarrett Posted December 27, 2017 Share #22 Â Posted December 27, 2017 As I said before, Zeiss suggests to code the Distagon as a Summicron 28 or Elmarit 28 Asph (and not as an Elmarit 28 v3/v4 like they advice to do with Biogons...) Â However the lens is very well corrected by itself and does not really need a profile, so you can set the entire thing to Off if you want...

Go Figure Posted December 29, 2017 Share #24 Â Posted December 29, 2017 judging from what lenses you are proposing here there is a world of difference in lens signature between the ZM 35/1.4 and the 35/2.0 Asph. ( or any other 35 Summicron ) Â so please allow me to propose a much more worldly approach: Â the ZM Biogon 35/2.0 Â but then you could also opt for the new Voigtlander 1.7/35 0.5m close focus range .... I would not want to miss that on the SL
