Eric1 Posted November 17, 2017 Share #1 Â Posted November 17, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) I recently lost the black plastic square cap for the rectangular hood of my 35mm summicron asph f/2.0 while on a photo trip and was wondering where to get a replacement for it? I checked online and couldn't find the exact same type, that slides onto the sides of the rectangular and fits snug. If the former, you should be able to buy it from most dealers. It is part 14043 and, at about £35 or so, is made from the world's most expensive plastic. wattsy Posted November 17, 2017 Share #9  Posted November 17, 2017 This is the one you need –  #14212 – it's the same cap that goes on a number of other hoods, including the screw-in hood for the current 35 Summilux. B&H do stock it, as do Popflash.
