Dr. G Posted November 16, 2017 Share #1 Posted November 16, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) I'm thinking about picking up a different CPL for my Q. I curerntly have the B+W Kaesemann and was wondering what I might gain, if anything, by going with the Breakthrough Photography polarizer. It seems to have very positive reviews. Advertisement Posted November 16, 2017 Posted November 16, 2017 Hi Dr. G, Take a look here Anyone try the Breakthrough Photography X4 CPL?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
HighlandK Posted November 16, 2017 Share #2 Posted November 16, 2017 I haven’t but find the B+W works fine - quality glass and build. I suppose my first reaction on reading the Breakthrough website was that there is a large measure of marketing hype. Call me an old cynic! I have used Hoya, Lee and B+W CPLs and in all honesty cannot see much difference. Given that CPLs are not the cheapest of filters I think I would need to find the B+W significantly lacking in some way to contemplate a change.
