Prof. Goodenough, the inventor of the Lithium battery, and his team have developed a battery membrane with plastic strands woven in. Chuck Albertson Posted December 3, 2017 Share #4 Posted December 3, 2017 (edited) Starting next month, American Airlines will not let you check "smart" luggage (tracking device, USB-charger, etc.) into the hold unless you can remove the batt and take it on board.
