Received an Email offering the software in the attached photo for $29.95 US. Does anyone have any experience with this offering? Opinions??

I also received that e-mail and figured it was worth trying out.  However, the e-mail I received with download links and license keys seemed to link to the wrong software, and the license keys don't work.  I'm hopeful that the company's customer support responds to my messages, but haven't received a response yet.

I'm not sure if the message legitimately came from the forum, and I've sent a request to forum administrators in an effort to clarify that issue.

I still have not received a response from Franzis' support.  Thus, I still don't have a working download link or working software keys.

I received word back from the forum operators, and they sent it thinking it might be helpful for their members (us).

I also finally received word back from Franzis, but only with new license keys, not with download links.  I have not been able to find a download link for one of the packages, and can't find a plugin for another package (the denoise application, which is the one I thought might actually be useful).

Also be warned that the software in the "special" is the crippled, standard version, and not the professional version that the company advertises on its website.

After several days of aggravation, only two of the four applications are installed and licensed.  I am waiting for another response from the folks in Germany in the hopes that they can get their act together and deliver the rest of the software that was supposed to be in the bundle.

And yes, pico, I realize that there is a time difference.  That time difference, however, does not account for support that takes days to respond to an inquiry from a new customer who can't install software.

The really sad thing is that even paying only $29, I am coming to the conclusion that I overpaid for this garbage!

Here's an update.  After contacting the company that processed payments, I finally received an e-mail from the software company with a working link to the NEAT software, and a link and software key for Denoise with a photoshop plugin.

Denoise is VERY slow.  It seems to do some sort of processing for the image when getting into the program, and there does not seem to be a way to set a default ISO (I don't know about the rest of you, but I only resort to noise reduction software at high ISO; the default for the software seems to be ISO 125).  As far as I can tell, there's no preference or setting to delay this initial image processing.  Even once you've selected the level of noise reduction to apply, the software is slow (at least as compared with Topaz' and Imagenomic's plugins).

Sharpen may be of some use to those just getting started with various approaches to image sharpening.  It simplifies sharpening settings, but those already familiar with unsharp mask are likely to find they have more control doing it themselves.

I'll update once I've tested the others.
